Giovanni Simeone’s sharp finish gave Torino a shock 1-0 win over Roma at the Stadio Olimpico, halting the hosts’ perfect start to the Serie A season. In front of 62,635 fans, Torino claimed their first victory, first goal, and first clean sheet of the campaign. Roma’s new 3-4-1-2 system met its first real setback as the visitors made their one big chance count.
