Bronzes can be split into many different groups such as Phosphor Bronze Leaded Bronze -Aluminium Bronze. Phosphor Bronze is a mixture of Copper and Tin with Phosphorous added as an alloying agent. Phosphor Bronze is widely used for the manufacture of springs & electrical connectors and has good corrosion resistance.
Leaded Bronzes can be cast and used for bearings & bush applications. We also supply an excellent Drawn Free Machining Alloy, Niclal 3444.
Aluminium Bronzes are a mixture of Copper and Aluminium with other alloying agents to give different characteristics. They have excellent corrosion resistance and are widely used for marine & offshore applications.
